a/n: Lol I’m sorry, it’s hot and I’m bored and I just think it would be funny if Taeyeon…
“Damn it, Tiffany! This is all your fault! I am gonna—Aaaaahh—When I’m done here! Ughhh! God, it hurts!”
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god—”
A chuckle reached Tiffany’s ears and it made her whip her head towards the offending person, expression stricken with a mix of worry, panic, fear, anxiety, but most of all, love.
“I’m sorry, I just find this whole fiasco really funn—Ow hey! What was that for?!”
She landed another hit on her friend’s shoulder before retracting her arm furiously, eyebrows drawn together in disappointment.
“You are so insensitive! Can’t you see how scared I am right now?!”
The chuckles became full blown laughter and as much as Tiffany wanted to smack her friend senseless, the pained screams and strings of yelled out curses that were coming from the room in front of them were making her anxious to the point of dysfunction.
She almost jumped out of her skin when she felt an arm snake around her waist before being pulled into a side hug.
“Don’t worry, Fany. She’s going to be fine. Taeng’s a fighter you know—”
“Fany, I swear—Aaaaahhh!”
Another scream and the both of them jumped from the volume.
“Oh god, Taetae, I’m sorry…”
“Why are you even out here, Fany? Shouldn’t you be in there?”
The arm around her waist was now on her shoulders, and she was thankful that she had someone with her at that moment. It was in the wee hours of the morning and out of all the friends that she had contacted in the midst of her hysterical panic, only Sooyoung was the one who responded right away.
But then again, most of the gang were out of town; it was summer after all.
“I can’t, Sooyoung, I—“ Tiffany swallowed and she felt her eyes burn, “I’m scared…” She whispered.
“That’s understandable. I mean, I fainted when Sunny—Ugh, I just had that vomit taste in my mouth.”
Sooyoung grimaced and it made Tiffany smile somehow, easing the tension a bit.
“To be honest, when you guys told me about this, I thought you two were just pranking me. I mean, Taeyeon? Seriously?”
“She knew I was scared, so she volunteered… I really love her, Soo. She’s the best—“
A loud shriek came from where Taeyeon was and it reverberated around the halls before it went deathly quiet, tearing the two away from their mellow conversation.
And then there it was, the loud sound of a crying infant erupted after the silence and Tiffany felt a tear spilling from her eyes. She covered her mouth as the waterworks continued, trying to keep in her sobs of happiness while Sooyoung pulled her into a tight hug.
“Sooyoung,” she whispered amidst the sobs, “I’m a mom…”
But then Taeyeon began to scream again and Tiffany felt Sooyoung pull back abruptly, eyes widening exponentially.
“Fany—Oh god—I am going to—Aaaaaaahh—Make you carry triplets next time—Aaaaaaahhhh!”
Her friend looked at her, half surprised and half confused.
“Taeyeon’s carrying twins?!”
She nodded sheepishly as another round of screaming filled the hospital halls.
